  • We use the Shopify platform. See Shopify’s Privacy Policy.
  • Payments may be processed by Shopify Payments, PayPal, or other authorized providers. We do not store full credit card numbers.
  • No subscriptions or recurring billing—charges occur at checkout.

2) California/CPRA Notice at Collection

We collect the following categories for the purposes shown. “Sell” or “Share” refers to CPRA’s definitions (cross-context behavioral advertising). You can opt out at Privacy Choices.

  • Identifiers (name, email, address, IP, cookie IDs)—orders/support, security/fraud, ads/analytics (may be “shared”).
  • Customer records (billing/shipping details)—orders/support.
  • Commercial info (purchases/history)—orders, returns, site/service improvement.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information and we do not sell personal information for money.

  • Payment: captured by payment processors; we don’t store full card numbers.

  • Legal/Safety: To comply with law or protect rights and safety.
  • No sale for money: We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration.

8) Your Rights (CCPA/CPRA, VA/CO/CT, GDPR)

  • Access/Correct: Request a copy of your data; ask us to fix inaccuracies.
  • Delete: Request deletion (subject to legal/tax/fraud obligations).
  • Opt-Out of Targeted Ads / “Do Not Sell or Share” (CPRA): Use Privacy Choices or GPC.
  • State rights: CA/VA/CO/CT and similar laws may provide rights to access, correct, delete, and opt out of targeted advertising/profiling.
  • GDPR (EEA/UK): Legal bases include contract (orders), legitimate interests (fraud/security/improvements), consent (marketing/ads where required), and legal obligations. Rights include access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection.

9) Security, Retention & Transfers

  • Security: Administrative, technical, and physical safeguards (no method is 100% secure).
  • Retention: Order/support records generally retained up to 7 years (tax/compliance). Analytics typically up to 14 months. We keep data only as long as needed for the purposes above or legal requirements.
  • Transfers: Data may be processed in the U.S. and other countries where providers operate, with appropriate protections.
  • Do Not Track: We do not respond to DNT signals due to no current industry standard.

10) Children’s Privacy

Our site isn’t directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a child provided information, contact us and we’ll delete it.

Use Privacy Choices to opt out of “sale/share” and targeted ads, or email contact@oceanstatestyles.com. We also honor GPC where required.

Do you sell my personal information?

No, we do not sell personal information for money. We may “share” limited identifiers/online activity with ads/analytics partners (as defined by CPRA). You can opt out.

How fast do you process requests?

We aim to respond promptly and within applicable timelines (e.g., CPRA up to 45 days, extendable by 45 more where permitted).

Can I access, delete, or correct my data?

Yes—use Privacy Choices or email us. We’ll verify your request to protect your data.

Do you respond to browser “Do Not Track”?

No, because there’s no industry standard. We do honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) as required.
