2) Acceptance
By accessing or using our site, placing an order, or interacting with our services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Supplemental terms (e.g., promotions, subscriptions) apply when you opt into those services and become part of your agreement with us.
3) Eligibility & accounts
- You must be at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction (or have parental consent) to make a purchase.
- Maintain accurate account details; you’re responsible for all activity under your account.
- We may refuse service, close accounts, or cancel orders for suspected fraud, policy violations, or unlawful activity.
- Security: enable multi-factor authentication where available and notify us of any unauthorized access.
4) Orders & payments
- Order acceptance: We accept your order when your payment method is charged. We’ll email a confirmation.
- Payment methods: Major cards and trusted options shown at checkout. You authorize charging the full amount shown (including taxes and any shipping/customization fees).
- Edits & cancellations: Contact us quickly; once production or shipping begins, changes may not be possible.
- Verification: To prevent fraud, we may request additional information. Orders we cannot verify may be canceled and refunded.
- Pre-authorization: Some methods place a temporary hold; final capture occurs when the order is accepted.
5) Pricing, taxes & fees
- Prices are in U.S. Dollars and may change without notice prior to purchase.
- Sales tax is calculated at checkout based on your shipping address and current tax laws.
- No hidden fees—any shipping, rush, or customization charges are shown before payment.
- We do not ship internationally; no customs duties apply.
6) Shipping & delivery
We ship within the United States only. See Shipping & Delivery for production times, carriers, and delivery windows.
- Processing: Most apparel is made on demand; production windows are posted on the shipping page.
- Tracking: We provide tracking when available. Title and risk of loss pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier.
- Address issues: Returned/undeliverable packages: we can re-ship (postage may apply) or refund minus original shipping if applicable.
- Delivery delays: Carrier or weather delays are outside our control; we’ll help investigate and resolve.
7) Returns & refunds

- Window: Most items are returnable within 30 days of delivery, new/unworn with tags.
- Exclusions: Final sale, customized/personalized, or hygiene-sensitive items may be non-returnable when labeled on the product page.
- Damaged/incorrect items: Report within 7 days of delivery with photos; we’ll remake or refund.
- Refunds: To the original payment method once processed; timing depends on your bank/card issuer.
8) Product information & availability
- We strive for accurate colors, sizing, and descriptions; minor variation may occur due to screens, dye lots, and on-demand production.
- We may limit quantities or discontinue items at any time.
- Size guides are provided for reference; please review before ordering.
9) Subscriptions & pre-orders (if offered)
- Billing: Recurring subscriptions bill on the stated cadence until canceled. You can cancel any time before the next billing date.
- Pre-orders: Estimated ship dates are targets, not guarantees; we’ll notify you of material changes.
- Updates: We’ll email material subscription/pre-order changes that affect pricing, cadence, or fulfillment.
10) Promotions, discounts & gift cards
- Promotions cannot be combined unless explicitly allowed; each has its own terms and expiry.
- Gift cards are non-refundable (except where required by law) and redeemable for eligible merchandise on our site.
11) Reviews & user content
By posting reviews, photos, or other content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use and display that content in connection with our store and marketing, subject to applicable law and platform rules. We may remove unlawful, infringing, or harassing content.
12) Intellectual property
All site content (designs, graphics, logos, text, photos, and code) is owned by or licensed to Ocean State Styles LLC and protected by IP laws. Limited personal, non-commercial use is allowed; other uses require written permission.
13) Acceptable use
- No fraudulent purchases, chargeback abuse, or attempts to bypass security.
- No scraping, automated access, or interference with site functionality.
- No unlawful, harmful, or rights-infringing activities using our site or products.
14) Third-party services & fulfillment
We use trusted third parties for payments, shipping, analytics, and on-demand production. Some products may be produced and shipped by vetted U.S. partners. Their terms and privacy practices apply where you use their services.
15) Privacy & data
Your data is handled per our Privacy Policy. We do not sell personal information. You can access/opt-out using the tools described there.
16) Disclaimers
AS IS / AS AVAILABLE. Except where prohibited by law, the site and products are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied (including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement). We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.
17) Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ocean State Styles LLC (including owners and employees) will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits/revenues, resulting from your use of the site or products. Our aggregate liability related to a purchase will not exceed the amount you paid for that order.
18) Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Rhode Island, USA, without regard to conflicts of law.
19) Dispute resolution
- Good-faith resolution first: Email contact@oceanstatestyles.com and we’ll work to resolve issues within 30 days.
- Small-claims or arbitration (if permitted): If unresolved, disputes (other than qualifying small-claims matters) may be resolved by binding arbitration on an individual basis (no class actions), to the extent permitted by law.
- Opt-out: You may opt out of arbitration within 30 days of first agreeing to these terms by emailing us with the subject “Arbitration Opt-Out.”
20) Changes to these terms
We may update these terms for legal, security, or operational reasons. We’ll post the new effective date here and, where required, provide additional notice. Continued use after changes means you accept the updates.

Consumer rights: If these terms conflict with a non-waivable consumer protection right that applies to you, your consumer right prevails.
22) Google Merchant Center (GMC) alignment
- Consistent identity: We disclose Ocean State Styles LLC as the legal entity and Ocean State Styles as our brand on our site, footer, invoices, and Merchant Center.
- Required policy links: Footer includes Terms, Returns/Refunds, Shipping, and Privacy, each linking to the correct page.
- Contact disclosure: Email and phone are present on Contact, footer, and policy pages.
- Shipping & returns clarity: U.S.-only shipping, return windows, exclusions, and process are clearly stated and match product pages.
- No misleading claims: We avoid unverifiable guarantees and clearly label made-to-order items and partner-fulfilled products.
- Business address: The same address appears on the site, invoices, and Merchant Center.
