We keep shipping simple, honest, and transparent. Most items are made to order, inspected, and shipped quickly. If anything is unclear, email us first—contact@oceanstatestyles.com—and include your full name and order number.

1) Where we ship

United States only. We currently ship to all 50 U.S. states and the District of Columbia.

P.O. Boxes & APO/FPO/DPO: Most items can ship to P.O. Boxes and military addresses via USPS. Some oversized items may require a street address.

U.S. territories & international: Not available at this time.
2) Shipping cost

Always Free USA Shipping on all orders (economy/standard).

Expedited options (when offered at checkout) are billed at the displayed rate and are non-refundable once the order ships.
3) Processing (production) times
-
Made to order: Most apparel and accessories are produced after you place an order.

Typical window: Production usually begins within 12–24 hours of order acceptance and completes within the timeframe shown on product pages or the cart.

Multiple-item orders: Items may ship separately as they clear production. You’ll receive a tracking email for each parcel.

Edits & cancellations: Email us immediately. Once production or packing begins, changes may not be possible.
4) Carrier methods & delivery windows

Carriers: We use trusted U.S. carriers (e.g., USPS, UPS, FedEx).

Economy/Standard (Free): Typically 3–8 business days after shipment, depending on distance and carrier network.

Expedited (if selected): Displayed delivery estimates are provided by the carrier and begin after your order ships.

Holiday peaks & weather: Volumes and severe weather can extend delivery times beyond estimates.
Heads up: Delivery windows are estimates, not guarantees. We’ll ship on time and help with any carrier issues.
5) Tracking & order updates

Tracking email: Sent when your item ships. It can take up to 24–48 hours for scans to appear.

No movement? If tracking hasn’t updated for 3 business days, email us and we’ll investigate.

Multiple shipments: You may receive more than one tracking number. Each will update independently.
6) Address accuracy & changes

Check twice: You are responsible for entering the correct shipping address at checkout.

Change requests: Email contact@oceanstatestyles.com immediately with the correct address and your order number. If production or shipping has begun, changes may not be possible.

Address corrections / intercepts: If a carrier allows an intercept, we’ll quote any fees for your approval before proceeding.
7) Undeliverable, returned-to-sender, & refused packages

Undeliverable / RTS: If a parcel returns due to an incorrect/insufficient address, repeated failed delivery attempts, or refusal, we’ll notify you:

Re-ship: We can re-ship once we confirm a corrected address (postage may apply).

Refund: If you prefer not to re-ship, we’ll refund the item price minus any original shipping charges that were actually incurred (free shipping is a cost to us) once the item is returned and inspected.

Refused packages: Treated as RTS. Re-ship or refund as above.
8) Lost, delayed, or “delivered” but not received

Delayed in transit: If tracking stalls for 7+ days, email us. We’ll open a carrier trace and keep you updated.

Marked “delivered,” not received:

Check around the premises, with household members, and with neighbors.

Look for notices or attempted-delivery slips.

Wait 24 hours—carriers sometimes mark delivered before final handoff.

Email us with your order number so we can assist.

Confirmed lost: Once a carrier confirms loss or a reasonable time passes with no scans, we’ll replace or refund—your choice.

Porch piracy/theft: If the carrier confirms delivery to your address, theft claims may require a police report and/or carrier claim. We’ll help gather details and support a fair resolution.
9) Signature requirements

By default: No signature required.

High-value orders: We may add signature confirmation at our discretion (no extra cost to you).

Customer request: If you want signature required, email us before the order ships and we’ll confirm feasibility and any fees.
10) Damaged in transit

Report within 7 days: Email photos of the outer box, shipping label, inner packaging, and damaged item.

Resolution: We’ll replace or refund quickly. You won’t pay return shipping for damage claims we approve.
11) Backorders & pre-orders (if applicable)

Backorder: We’ll email an ETA or equivalent product option.

Pre-order: Estimated ship dates are targets and may shift. We’ll notify you of material changes and provide options if delays occur.
12) Split shipments & partial fulfillment

Your order may ship in multiple packages as items complete production at different times.

You’ll receive separate tracking for each package. The order remains “In Progress” until the final item ships.
13) Packaging & sustainability

We use protective, right-sized packaging where possible to reduce waste and damage risk.

You may receive recyclable mailers or boxes, depending on the item and carrier requirements.
14) Force majeure & events beyond control

We aren’t responsible for delays caused by events outside our control (e.g., severe weather, carrier network disruptions, natural disasters, labor actions). We’ll communicate proactively and work toward a fair outcome.

In short: Most items can be returned within 30 days if new, unworn, and unwashed with tags. Damaged/incorrect items must be reported within 7 days for fast replacement/refund.
