What items are eligible for return?
Most apparel and accessories are eligible if returned within 30 days of delivery, unworn, unwashed, unaltered, and free of odors, stains, or damage. Tags and packaging should still be intact.
What items can’t be returned?

I received a damaged or incorrect item. What should I do?
Email us at contact@oceanstatestyles.com within 7 days of delivery. Include your order number, photos of the issue, and the packing slip if available. We’ll review and offer a free replacement or full refund. You’ll never pay return shipping on our errors.
How do I start a return or exchange?

Who pays for return shipping?

We cover it if the product is defective, damaged, or incorrect.

For “changed-mind” or size-related returns, you can ship on your own or request a prepaid label (we’ll deduct the carrier’s cost from your refund).
What condition must the item be in?
Returned products must be new, unwashed, and unaltered, with no signs of wear, odors, or pet hair. Items not meeting these standards may be partially refunded or declined.
Can I exchange for a different size or color?
Yes, if the replacement is in stock. If it’s sold out, we’ll process a refund or issue store credit once we receive your return.
How long will my refund take?
Once your item arrives and passes inspection, we usually issue refunds within 3–5 business days. Depending on your payment method, your bank may take a few extra days to post it.
Can I return a gift?
If you received a gift purchased from our website, the refund will go to the original payment method. We can issue store credit to you upon request.
What if my order never arrived?
Contact us immediately if tracking shows delivery issues or the package hasn’t moved for several days. We’ll help you open a carrier investigation and replace or refund if the package is confirmed lost.
Do you accept returns outside the United States?
Not at this time. We currently serve and accept returns from U.S. addresses only.
